2025 was a year of yes. Yes to learning, leading, serving, and growing.
One of the values I hold close to me is celebrating others, in whatever lap or race they’re running in life.
My 2025 Misogi challenge was accomplished by attending RunningMan and completing 14 miles on a one-mile loop. For most of those miles, I ran or walked alongside a different stranger, listening to their stories and what drove them to show up. Some ran 3 miles, others tackled 30—and you know what? Distance and time didn’t matter. Everyone was cheering everyone on, rooting for each person to win in whatever that looked like for them.
2025 was also a year of being surrounded by amazing people and cultivating great relationships. The Kris Kelly Real Estate Team hosted our 1st annual Pie Party and between 3 of us, we were incredibly grateful to hand out nearly 120 pies. (A huge thank you to Cumberland Golf Club always supporting us and providing the perfect space to host.)
Working alongside Jess and Kris as a real estate team, we have the honor of serving people during one of the biggest milestones of their lives—buying or selling a home. We’re endlessly grateful for the real connections we build and the profound impact our clients have on us. Whether we’re celebrating engagements, pregnancy announcements, first-time homeownership… or holding space for those navigating loss, or tough life changes—real estate is not about transactions. It’s about people.
It’s a beautiful reminder: you never know what someone is going through, so let’s choose to spread love and kindness every chance we get. Carve out extra time in the grocery store to say hi to the employees, compliment a stranger on their amazing outfit you love, write your mailman or mailwoman a thank you card for being awesome. As 2026 continues, I hope to love more, pray more, and celebrate more.
